I have to admit that I never thought I would EVER need to be shopping for a wig, but here I am! I'm 62 now and have always had long thick hair. In August of 2021 both my husband and I got Covid. My husband almost died, but I recovered pretty quickly so didn’t think much about it...until three months later when my long thick hair started falling out in clumps...literally. Over the past three months I have lost most of my hair, so unless I put it in a clip where it wouldn’t be so noticeable, I just didn’t go anywhere. I began hearing more and more stories within my extended family and outside about severe hair loss following Covid. I started looking for a wig and had a horrible experience with two other sites (one a scam); they looked so fake! Some weren’t even the wigs or colors that I ordered—and returns weren’t possible. I was unbelievably frustrated, desperate and disillusioned!

My sister’s friend was talking about her similar Covid hair loss experience--but she had just found Lori’s Lemonade Stand and showed pictures of herself in her new wig.
