The major benefits of purchasing a synthetic wig is that they are reasonably priced, the color is permanent, and styling and maintenance is easy. Also, synthetic fiber will hold its style through washing, environment/weather, and being stored. If you wish to change the style of the fiber, a steamer can be used. You cannot apply any heat and it will not accept human hair dyes, as it is does not absorb anything. The fiber generally is not flammable, but will melt from high heat.
